Responsible Gambling

What Responsible Gambling Tools Are For

At SlotoZen Casino, we advocate for a balanced approach to gaming, and responsible gambling tools are designed to keep your play enjoyable and controlled. These features help you maintain control by setting boundaries on your deposits, losses, and time spent playing. By using these tools, you can ensure that gambling remains a source of entertainment. The implementation of these tools is straightforward, ensuring that you can focus on having fun without worrying about overspending or losing track of time.

Understanding Deposit, Loss, and Time Limits

Our responsible gambling tools include setting limits on deposits, losses, and time. These tools are invaluable for managing your gambling habits:

• Deposit Limit: Allows you to control the maximum amount of money you can deposit within a specific time frame, be it daily, weekly, or monthly. This ensures you don’t deposit more than you can afford.
• Loss Limit: Sets a cap on how much you can lose across all games during a set period. This is crucial for maintaining financial health while enjoying gaming.
• Time Limit: Ensures you don't spend excessive time on the platform, promoting healthier gameplay intervals and encouraging breaks.

Setting these limits is quick and can be adjusted as you find what's best for your gaming style.

Setting a Limit on Your Account

1. Log into your SlotoZen account and navigate to the 'Account Settings' section.
2. Select 'Responsible Gambling' and choose the type of limit you wish to set (deposit, loss, or time).
3. Enter the desired limit and specify the duration for it (daily, weekly, or monthly).
4. Confirm your selection. Limits will take effect immediately upon confirmation.

These steps are designed to be simple, allowing you to have complete control over your gaming activities immediately.

Self-Exclusion and How It Works

If you feel you need a break from gambling, self-exclusion is a strong measure to take. This feature allows you to lock your account for a specified period, preventing access to the casino's services. During this time, you won't be able to deposit or play games until the exclusion timeline is met. It's an effective way to gain perspective and prevent impulsive gaming activities.

Should you decide self-exclusion is the right choice, this can be easily arranged through your account settings or by contacting our support team directly. Once activated, self-exclusion is strictly enforced to aid your commitment to taking a much-needed break.

Tools for Responsible Gambling

Recognising the Warning Signs

It's essential to recognise the signs of problem gambling. Indicators include spending more time or money than intended, neglecting personal responsibilities, or experiencing anxiety when unable to gamble. Addressing these signs early can prevent more severe consequences.

Being aware of these signs is the first step towards responsible gaming. We encourage our users to periodically review their gaming habits to ensure they are not veering off balance. Setting reminders and routinely checking in on your limits can provide insights into your gaming behaviour.

When to Seek Help

Understanding when to seek help is crucial. If gambling negatively impacts your daily life or relationships, it might be time to consider professional assistance. Always prioritise your wellbeing and the wellbeing of those around you.

FAQ

What happens if I need to lift or change a limit?

If you wish to lift or change a limit, you can adjust it via 'Account Settings'. Decreasing a limit takes effect immediately, while increasing or removing a limit may take 24 hours to process, ensuring you have considered the decision adequately.

How does the reality check tool benefit me?

The reality check tool sends you notifications about your play time at regular intervals, helping you stay aware of how long you've been active. This feature aids in managing your gaming sessions better, preventing extended periods without breaks. It’s especially useful for players prone to long gaming sessions, ensuring they pause, refresh, and return with a clear mind.

Can I access support without blocking my account?

Yes, you can access support without resorting to self-exclusion. Reach out to Gambling Help Online or use SlotoZen's responsible gambling tools to control your activity without entirely blocking access. It's important to utilise available resources to maintain a healthy balance, while continuing to enjoy what we offer.

What if I'm not sure if I have a gambling problem?

If you're uncertain about your gambling habits, consider taking self-assessment quizzes available on sites like Gambling Help Online. These assessments can provide insight and guide you on whether further steps, like seeking help, might be necessary. Self-reflection is an ongoing practice, and regularly assessing your habits can foster better self-awareness.

Is self-exclusion reversible?

Once you set up self-exclusion, it's not immediately reversible. This period is designed to ensure you make a considered decision about accessing gambling services, so it will last for the entire duration specified during setup.
